No nomination filed for Khargone bypoll, 1 for Sanver

Bhopal, Nov 21 (UNI) No papers were filed on the fifth day today for filing of nominations for the December 12 by-election to the Khargone Lok Sabha seat in Madhya Pradesh, while one nomination was filed for this Sanver assembly seat.

Official sources said Congress candidate Tulsi Silavat filed has nomination. So far, two nominations had been filed for Sanver bypoll. No nominations were filed for Khargone bypoll.

November 23 is the last day for filing nominations. Scrutiny will be held till November 26 and the last date of withdrawal is November 28. Polling will be held on December 12 followed by counting which will take place on December 15.

Khargone seat had fallen vacant with the disqualification of Mr Krishnamurari Moghe as MP over office of profit issue, while state minister Prakash Sonkar's demise caused the by-election in Sanver.
