New Delhi, Nov 21 (UNI) The Government's retail and SEZ policy is anti-people, anti-employment and anti-farmers, the Swadeshi Jagran Manch today said protesting against the entry of corporates in the retail sector and SEZ.

Addressing a massive dharna and demonstration here, Muralidhar Rao, All India convenor of the Manch, said, ''The government is facing a huge loss of revenue due to SEZ policy and food insecurity is rising in the country.'' Making a special mention of the Namdigram issue, he said, ''Marxists who declare themselves as the sole protector of rights of the poor are themselves killing the farmers suing their might and misbehaving with women. While doing all these things, they are also trying to legitimise their act.'' Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh All India General Secretary Uday Patvardhan said Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattacharya has lost his mental balance and is trying to terrorise the people of Nandigram and that even more is in stock for them.

''This act of Marxist have proved that they are not for poor workers and farmers but rather dancing to the tunes of big corporates,'' he said.

A memorandum was submitted to President Pratibha Devisingh Patil and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh after the dharna organised by the Swadeshi Jagran Manch Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh.
