Cong announces candidate for Khargone and Sanver bypolls

Bhopal, Nov 21 (UNI) The Congress has declared its official candidates for Lok Sabha byelection in Khargone Constituency and assembly byelection in Sanver Constituency in Madhya Pradesh, scheduled to take place on December 12.

Madhya Pradesh Congress President Subhash Yadav's son Arun Yadav has been fielded as Congress candidate from Khargone, while former legislator Tulsi Silavat will contest from Sanver.

State Congress spokesperson Manak Agrawal today said that the party's Madhya Pradesh Incharge General Secretary V Narayan Sami had confirmed the names.

Khargone seat had fallen vacant with the disqualification of Mr Krishnamurari Moghe as MP over Office of Profit issue, while State Minister Prakash Sonkar's demise has caused the byelection in Sanver.
