College principal shot dead

Jyotiba Phulenagar, Nov 21 (UNI) A college principal was today shot dead, following a dispute over promotion and subsequent demotion of a fourth class employee in Amroha town of the district.

J N Hindu Inter College principal Dr Radheyshyam Tapan (55) had promoted peon Ravi Prakash Shukla as clerk two years ago.

Few days ago, Ravi was again demoted as peon, owing to which, he and another employee Sushil Kumar, shot dead the principal inside the college precincts.

A search to nab the absconding killers had been launched.
