5 members of family commit suicide

Lucknow, Nov 21 (UNI) Five members of a family allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison under Gangoh area of Saharanpur district, this evening.

The deceased were identified as Ramesh (55), his wife Bala (50), daughter Mauni (22), Seema (19) and Annu (17).

The police said Ramesh had a tiff with his son Yogesh over the marriage of Mauni, which was scheduled for next month.

Meanwhile, the bodies had been sent for postmortem and the case was under investigation.
