4 arrested for selling diesel illegally

Muzaffarnagar, Nov 21 (UNI) Police today arrested four persons selling diesel illegally in Jhinjana area here and seized 8,000 litres of fuel from their possession.

District supply officer Manik Lal said information was received about some persons selling diesel illegally in the villages bordering the state of Haryana.

A tractor-trolley laden with 40 drums diesel was seized.

The arrested were identified as Ashok, Sewaram, Omvir and Sabir.

They had been sent to jail.
