123 stolen mobiles recovered, four held in Jammu

Jammu, Nov 21 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police have arrested four people and recovered 123 stolen mobiles and 54 batteries worth Rs 14 lakh from them after busting an inter-state gang of cell phone thieves, an official spokesman today said.

Two of the accused thieves, identified as Raja alias Sanatan of Delhi and Vaishno alias Bitu of Bihar, were arrested from different areas of the city on November 13, the spokesman said.

During interrogation, the duo revealed the names of two other associates -- Rakesh Arwar and Dulya -- both from Madhya Pradesh, the spokesman said, adding that they were taken into custody.
