Youth Congress demands Chouhan's resignation
Indore, Nov 20 (UNI) Youth Congress workers today staged a demonstration and burnt Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in effigies at 101 places here and demanded his resignation over the much-debated dumpers' purchase case.
During the agitation, the workers also had a scuffle with policemen.
Youth Congress President Devendra Singh said development of the state had come to a standstill during the four-year BJP rule. The Common man and farmers were facing various road, electricity and water problems.
He alleged that a land scam to the tune of several crores took place in the recently-held Global Investors Summit here.
