Kotak signes up with Doha Bank for Mutual Funds

Dubai, Nov 20: Doha Bank has signed a deal with leading Mutual Fund managers, Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company Ltd to distribute their products in Qatar.

CEO of Doha Bank, R Seetharaman, said at the signing ceremony held at the bank's headquarters, ''the tie-up will provide additional investment options to Indian expatriates in Qatar.'' Going by the global expansion plan of Doha Bank, which has its presence in Dubai and the upcoming branch in Kuwait will provide additional investment opportunities to many,he added.

Doha Bank's Retail Banking Executive Manager Abdul Rahman Al Meer said on the occasion that Doha Bank has the largest network in Qatar, and mutual fund products would be available to customers through its network of branches, according the Peninsula Daily.

Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company Ltd Chief Executive Officer Sandesh Kirkire said the tie- up with Doha Bank reinforces their commitment to expand its retail participation, particularly from the West Asia.
