Irate mob sets jeep afire

Palanpur, Nov 20 (UNI) An angry mob set ablaze a jeep at village Unawa (Miradatar) after it accidentally knocked down a 13-year-old boy.

The incident occurred last evening.

The jeep was coming from Mehsana when Rabari Naranbhai Khengarbhai, son of Amidbhai Umarbhai of Unwas, suddenly came before it, hitting the boy. In the mishap, the boy was injured and rushed to civil hospital at Mehsana, where he is said to be out of danger, police said today.

Unjha police have registered a case against the driver, whose identity has not been revealed.
