Govt spent Rs 729.71 lakh till Oct 07 on Liberhan panel
New Delhi, Nov 20 (UNI) The Government has spent Rs 729.71 lakh on the Liberhan Commission, probing the razing of the Babri mosque in Ayodhya, till October this year, Minister of State for Home Sriprakash Jaiswal said in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today.
He said as per the information available with the Government, the report of the Commission has not been submitted due to its ''non-finalisation''.
He said the report is likely to be submitted to the Government within the extended tenure of the Commission.
