CPI(M) will not obstruct anybody's return to Nandigram: Bose

Kolkata, Nov 20 (UNI) Making an appeal to people, who fled during the last round of violence in Nandigram, to return home, CPI(M) state secretary Biman Bose today assured that the party would not obstruct anybody's return.

''We appeal to the homeless people of Nandigram to return home.

We would not obstruct...the party would not maintain any relation with those who would prevent anybody from coming back,'' he told reporters after flagging off a consignment of relief materials for the affected people.

Mr Bose said the party had sent relief materials for the people who were now living in camps for distribution without any political consideration.

He said the affected people of Nandigram were expected to receive relief from the West Bengal State Relief Committee.

In reply to a query, the CPI(M) leader said a delegation of the party's Lok Sabha members would meet the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) today.
