Cains to open Asia-Pacific regional office in Singapore

Mumbai, Nov 20 (UNI) Cains, a leading Isle of Man commercial law firm, will open an Asia-Pacific regional office in Singapore by July 2008.

Cains, a specialist offshore law firm, has rapidly expanding knowledge of the Asian market due to their established client network within India. Over the past 18 months, Cains has worked closely with London and Indian-based advisors to help Indian companies and investment funds secure AIM flotations, a press release here today said.

The new office base in Singapore will provide Cains with the opportunity to advise existing clients from an office within the Asian region, whilst providing a physical base and presence for further international business development. The office will be headed by Mike Edwards, currently in the Isle of Man, who will be joined by a team of experienced corporate lawyers.
