BJ announces candidate for Khargone bypoll

Bhopal, Nov 20 (UNI) The Uma Bharti led Bharatiya Janshakti (BJ) has declared its youth wing vice president Sanjay Jhanvar as its official candidate for Lok Sabha by-election in Khargone constituency.

The Party sources said today that Mr Jhanvar, hails from Sendhwa in Barwani district of Madhya Pradesh. Besides, he remains involved in social service activites.

Meanwhile, the exercise for selecting a candidate for Sanver bypoll was underway. Senior party leader Prahlad Patel and party workers were discussing the matter in Indore. The party intends to field a candidate from a ''prestigious'' family in the Sanver bypoll.

Khargone seat had fallen vacant with the disqualification of Mr Krishnamurari Moghe as MP over Office of Profit issue.
