Bhubaneswar to host Nat symposium on spices, aromatic crops

Kozhikode, Nov 20 (UNI) About 200 scientists, NGOs, farmers and representatives of Spices Board are expected to participate in a national symposium on spices and aromatic crops beginning at here on November 25.

Orissa Governor Murlidhar Chandrakant Bhandare will inaugurate the two-day event at the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), Indian Institute of Spices Research, one of the joint organisers, said in a release here.

It said experts would deliberate various emerging and re-emerging threats confronting the spices and aromatic crop industry in the country.
