Actor Jackie Shroff questioned in hit and run case

Mumbai, Nov 20 (UNI) Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff was questioned today by Deputy Commissioner of Police Desh Dhratar in connection with the hit and run case, involving Canadian model Kelly Brook at Worli last week.

The interrogation, that began at around 1500 hrs, took place in the office of the DCP at Bavla Compound and lasted for almost an hour.

According to police, Shroff was asked about his presence at the site. He said that since Brook's boyfriend was his friend's son, he went there after he was called by him.

Shroff said the model and her boyfriend did not understand Hindi and were speaking in English and he was called to make things easier.
