Yeddyurappa's term shortest term ever
Bangalore, Nov 19 (UNI) The week-long tenure of BJP Leader B S Yeddyurappa as Chief Minister will perhaps be the shortest witnessed in the history of Karnataka.
Mr Yeddyurappa who was sworn in as the Chief Minister on November 12 resigned today after the JD(S) withdrew support.
The previous shortest tenure had been that of Mr Kadidal Manjappa who had been the Chief Minister of erstwhile Mysore State between August 19, 1956 to October 31,1956 (73 days).
Mr Yeddyurappa was the 19th Chief Minister of the State.
