TDP MLAs continue dharna at Assembly tonight

Hyderabad, Nov 19 (UNI) The TDP MLAs, along with party president and Opposition Leader N Chandrababu Naidu, continued with their dharna near the Speaker's Chamber even after the House adjourned tonight.

Talking to newspersons here, Mr Naidu alleged that the government failed to respond to the demands of the Opposition and never gave an assurance to hike the MSP for paddy.

Meanwhile, the TDP leaders and workers who tried to enter the Assembly premises were taken in to custody.

Additional police force were deployed at the Assembly to prevent any untoward incident, police said.
