Syndiate Bank launches online loan facility

Mumbai Nov 19 (UNI) Public Sector lender, Syndicate Bank for the first time has introduced online loan application facility for some of its loan facility like educational, housing and professional loans.

This facility can be availed by clicking into the banks website ''syndicatebank.com'' where a seperate section has been incorporated under the head ''online loan''. Anyone seeking loans can fill up the prescribed form on the net and submit it.

Subash Malhotra, General Manager of the bank said here today '' this initiative is aimed towards ensuring hassle free loan facility for the masses, where response time will be as minimal as possible.'' Through a centralised server, the bank will monitor the loan application online and will ensure that the loan is made available within 14 days once the eligibility criteria is fulfilied.

Under the financial inclusion scheme, bank has also implemented a service of opening accounts by mobile van in rural areas.

The total global business of the bank till date is Rs.1,37,333 crores comprising a customer base of 19 million.The bank has a network of 2136 branches spread across 29 states.
