Visakhapatnam, Nov 19 (UNI) The Founder Leader of Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) S Ramdoss today stressed the need for a unified force of BCs, SCs, STs, Muslims and Kapu communities to get their share of political power in key posts to achieve representation in proportion.

Talking to newspersons here, he said even after 60 years of independence, the most backward communities, which constitute 80 per cent of the population in the country had not been given due representation at the helm of power.

Replying to a question, he said he had no political ambitions in Andhra Pradesh but was trying to unify the communities which were continuously being deprived of their due share in the society.

On the issue of separate Telangana, he said it was good for devlopment.

Dr Ramdoss said reservation should be implemented on caste- based census and not on the economic-based criteria.
