One killed as truck rolls into gorge in HP

Shimla, Nov 19 (UNI) The driver of a mini truck was killed after it fell into a gorge near Nathpa Jhakri in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh today, police said.

The Toyota 407 truck rolled into a gorge at Nathpa Jhakri, about 142 km from here, early today.

The sources said the dead has been identified as Mohan lal, 39.

The cause of the accident was, however, not immediately known, the sources said, adding that a case has been registered and investigations are on.
