Official Ukraine mine toll 56 dead, 44 missing

KIEV, Nov 18 (Reuters) An explosion at a colliery in Ukraine's Donbass coalfield today killed 56 miners and 44 were still missing, the Emergencies Ministry said.

A trade union official at the Zasyadko mine in the eastern town of Donetsk said there was little chance of finding the missing miners alive.
