Indian software exports to grow by 25 per cet: Premji
Bangalore, Nov 19 (UNI) IT giant Wipro Ltd Chairman Azim Premji today said the country's software exports was likely to grow by 25 per cent this year almost the same in line with his company's guidance for the present fiscal.
Speaking on the sidelines of the two-day Freescale Technology Forum that began here today, he said this rate of growth would continue for the next three to four years as the Indian companies continued to bag new contracts both within the country and abroad.
The country's software exports was likely to surpass the USD 30 billion mark in software exports this fiscal, while the local market would likely to bring another ten billion dollars in terms of revenues to the IT sector, he said.
City-based Wipro is the third biggest software exporter in the country behind TCS and Infosys.
