Tribute to Indira Gandhi on 90th birthday

New Delhi, Nov. 19 : Country paid rich tributes to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her 90th birth anniversary today. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Chief of Congress party Sonia Gandhi, were among the first to pay homage at Shakti Sthal, a memorial of Gandhi on the banks of River Yamuna in New Delhi.

A function was also organised at Indira Gandhi Memorial in one Safdarjung road. President Pratibha Patil along with Singh and Sonia Gandhi attended the function.
