Minister
Manmohan
Singh
and
Chief
of
Congress
party
Sonia
Gandhi,
were
among
the
first
to
pay
homage
at
Shakti
Sthal,
a
memorial
of
Gandhi
on
the
banks
of
River
Yamuna
in
New
Delhi.
A function was also organised at Indira Gandhi Memorial in one Safdarjung road. President Pratibha Patil along with Singh and Sonia Gandhi attended the function.
