Hotmail Co-founder to launch new product

Bangalore, Nov 19: Sameer Bhatia, Co-founder of Hotmail.com, will come out with new on-line based product expected to earn over USD 20 billion revenue per annum.

The new product would be launched on November 21 in Mumbai.

Speaking to newspersons on the sidelines of the NASSCOM Product Conclave 2007, which began here today Mr Bhatia informed that the new product in the On-line space would be launched in India simultaneously with global launch.

He said the new product was designed and developed at the Bangalore facility. ''Over 100 technologists were working in it,'' he added..

Mr Bhatia, however, refused to divulge the quantum of investment made to develop the product.
