Elaborate arrangement for Sanver bypoll

Indore, Nov 19 (UNI) Elaborate arrangements are being made for the Assembly byelection in Sanver constituency here, where polling is scheduled for December 12, District Returning Officer Vivek Agrawal said today.

The byelection was necessitated due to the death of BJP Minister of State for Forests and Scheduled Castes Prakash Sonkar.

A total of 89,812 male and 85,013 female voters will to exercise their franchise in 187 polling booths. About 1,000 government employees are being imparted training in two-phases for the bypoll.

Nominations will be accepted till November 23. Scrutiny will take place on November 26, while nominations can be withdrawn till November 28.

Counting of votes will take place on December 15.
