Mr Reddy, representing Balgonda constitutncy in the Assembly, went to the school last night as a 'surprise visit' to make first hand assessment of the problems faced by the boys.
During his night stay in the hostel, he interacted with the students and also with the hostel officials about the facilities provided to them.
Mr Reddy had dinner with them. Later, he slept with the students on the floor.
Later, speaking to mediapersons, Mr Reddy said ''there is need to improve the facilities in the Government hostels. I am not fully satisfied with the facilities provided to the students by the government.'' It may be recalled that the Speaker had suggested to all MLAs to spend a night in the Government hostel to experience the problems faced by the students, when the opposition TDP deputy floor leader T Devendar Goud raised the 'plight' of the students in the hostels, on November 17, in the Assembly Session.
