SGPC jatha to visit Pakistan

Amritsar, Nov 18: A Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) sponsored sikh jatha will go to Pakistan to celebrate the birthday of Guru Nanak Dev at Nankana Sahib on November 24.

Disclosing this here yesterday, SGPC Secretary Harbeant Singh said the jatha, which would leave for Pakistan by train on November 21, would also visit various Gurdwaras during their nine-day stay in Pakistan.

The jatha would return on November 30, Mr Singh said.
