Mysore Ashram to hold three-day all India Bonsai-exhibition
Mysore, Nov 18 (UNI) A three-day All India Bonsai Convention and exhibition will be held here from November 24, Sri Ganapati Sachidananda Swamiji of Ganapati Sachidananda Ashram said.
Talking to newspersons here yesterday, he said the convention was being held to create awareness among people about Bonsai cultivation. Renowned masters from all over the world were participating.
He said the event was being organised jointly with the Ashram and Bonsai study group of Indo-Japanese Association and Bonsai Friendship Federation of India. An exhibition of Bonsai plants and a Photo display and demonstrations and workshops would also be held.
He said during the event the ashram's Kishikindha Moolika Bansai Garden, an exquisite display of more than 380 carefully shaped and miniaturised Bonsai trees, which were brought from abroad from over 80 countries would be on display.
''These trees have been aesthetically displayed in oriental garden setting amidst the tranquil surroundings of the ashram, '' he said.
UNI
