Eunuchs in Maya's rally catch public eye at Jammu

Jammu, Nov 18: A group of young eunuchs, who have come all the way from Uttar Pradesh, was a big attraction of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati's public rally here today.

Moving freely in the Mini Stadium at Parade Ground, these eunuchs were catching eyes of people drawn from various parts of the region to attend the rally of the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

As many as 15 eunuchs from Uttar Pradesh, arrived at the venue before the arrival of Ms Mayawati, said Pooja, a member of the group.

''Whereever 'Behan Ji' goes to address the public rally, we also reach there. She is our favorite leader as she has done so much for our (eunuchs') welfare,'' she said.

Ms Mayawati, who arrived here on a day-long tour to address a public rally, will chalk out her plan and give necessary directions to the party workers for the forthcoming Assembly elections in the state to be held next year.
