Couple killed in road accident

Muzaffarnagar, Nov 18 (UNI) A couple was killed, while their daughter sustained critical injuries after an ill-fated car, carrying them, rammed into a roadside tree in Sikhera area here.

The accident occurred on Panipat-Khatima road, when the family was on way to Muzaffarpur.

While the couple died on the spot, their daughter Megha was rushed to a hospital in Meerut.

The deceased were identified as executive engineer Bhupendra Kumar (48), posted at the Kalagarh dam, and Anju (46).
