''Our alliance with F-Secure is our endeavour to address the increasing security needs of our customers and provide them with a safe online environment while surfing the Internet,'' Bharti Airtel President (Broadband&Telephone Services) Atul Bindal said.
Under the agreement, Airtel will offer its broadband customers F-Secure's security solutions through its PC Secure service which offers clients a very high level of security and protection from most common data security threats.
F-Secure's value added service will be integrated into the monthly internet subscription in a phased manner. In the first phase, the Airtel PC Secure service will be immediately offered to Airtel broadband home users. The service for business users will be available later.
The Airtel PC Secure features can be made available to Airtel broadband customers by subscribing to the Airtel PC Secure service at an annual subscription charge.
Bharti Airtel has three business divisions--mobile services, broadband and telephone services, and enterprise services.
