Wrestler involved in several murders arrested

New Delhi, Nov 16 (UNI) A young wrestler-turned-criminal involved in several gruesome murders in the city and Haryana has been arrested, police today said.

Dinesh Dalal (22) alias Gapchu, was wanted in several murder cases, including the double murder case in the area of PS Zafarpur, Delhi.

Police, acting on a tip off, laid a trap near Mukarba Chowk where Dinesh was spotted. When confronted by the police, Dinesh took out a weapon but was overpowered and arrested.

A resident of Nanda Enclave, Nazafgarh, Dinesh competed in various wrestling competitions but started misusing his muscle power for carrying out illegal activities, police said.

He gradually became a contract killer and with his associates, murdered one Raj Singh of village Badli in Haryana.

A case has been registered and further interrogation were on to nab his associates, police added.
