Pushpa Yaga Mahotsavam at Tirupati

Tirumala, Nov 16 (UNI) The annual Pushpa Yaga Mahotsavam was held in the temple of Lord Sri Venkateswara here today.

After performing Snapana Tirumanjanam to processional dieties of Lord Malayappaswamy in the morning, Pushpa Yagam was performed in the Sampangi Prakaram.

In the evening, after the completion of Sahasra Deepalankara Seva, Lord Malayappa Swamy along with his consorts, were taken out in a procession around four mada streets.

In view of the Mahotsavam, arjitha sevas and nijapada sevas were cancelled.

Since 1980 the Pushpa Yaga Mahotsavam was conducted with religious fervour here.
