Man fell at borewell in AP village

West Godavari, Nov 16 (UNI) A 65-year-old person fell in a 25 feet borewell near Vekataramannaguda in this district today.

Police said Poturaju fell in a abandoned borewell in agriculture fields while proceeding towards his house. The locals immediately informed the village officials.

The rescue teams and a proclain was pressed into service to save Poturaju. The emergency 108 service was sending oxygen to the victim through pipes.

The poclain was digging a parellal ditch beside the borewell.

The authorities said Poturaju's condition was stated to be normal.
