Kolkata, Nov 16 (UNI) Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee today hailed Calcutta High Court judgment denouncing the firing in Nandigram and asserted that the Left Front Government had lost all moral and constitutional right to remain in the saddle.

Talking to newsmen here, Ms Banerjee said, '' After the proclamation of the High Court verdict, the CPI(M)-led Government has no constitutional right to continue in power. The government should be immediately sacked to protect democracy in the state. '' She appealed to the Centre to dismiss the Left Front Government to safeguard democracy.

The Trinamool Congress chief said she would meet Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi tomorrow to apprise him of the Nandigram happenings and sought opinions from the Constitutional experts in this regard.

She also gave a clarion call to all the anti-CPI(M) forces to join the secular democratic platform to launch a concerted movement.

Ms Banerjee announced a charter of programmes, including a procession from Singur to Nandigram on December 2 and block and district level rallies, to highlight the Nandigram incident.
