UP: Gram Pradhan dies mysteriously

Hardoi, Nov 16: A Gram Pradhan was found dead under mysterious circumstances outside his house here today.

The body of Akbarpur Gram Pradhan Rampal (60) was found lying outside his residence in Hariyanva area this morning.

According to police, the corpse bore several wounds and prima facie, it appeared Rampal had fallen off the terrace.

However, the family of the deceased later registered a murder case against the former Gram Pradhan.

The body had been sent for postmortem and investigations were underway.
