CM to raise MSP issue at AICC meet

Hyderabad, Nov 16 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekahra Reddy today said he would demand fixing of Minimum Support Price (MSP) for 13 agriculture produces at the All India Congress Committee (AICC) session beginning in New Delhi tomorrow.

Talking to reporters here, before leaving for the National Capital, he said the farmers were not getting MSP for 13 agriculture produces.

While the bonus of Rs 50 per quintal of paddy announced by the Centre would be given from this year, Rs 1,000 MSP for per quintal of wheat would be effective from next year, he added.
