Ujjain, MP, Nov 16 (UNI) The Bharatiya Kalidas Parishad has moved the Madhya Pradesh High Court's Indore bench against its name being deleted from the organising committee of the seven-day golden jubilee Akhil Bharatiya Kalidas Samaroh scheduled to get underway in this ancient temple town on November 21.

The plea was submitted yesterday. The event would be inaugurated by Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and former deputy premier L K Advani and presided over by Chief Minsiter Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

At a meeting in Bhopal earlier this year, the state government's advisory committee deleted the founding body's name.

''When Union Human Resource Development Minister Arjun Singh learnt of the deletion, he expressed severe annoyance and wrote to Mr Chouhan for re-entering the Parishad's name. Similar missives were sent by former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Vishva Hindu Parishad leader Acharya Giriraj Kishore,'' said Parishad General Secretary Shiv Sharma.
