A 51 year-old man shot dead at Bhandup

Mumbai Nov 16 (UNI) A 51-year-old man was shot dead at point blank range by an unidentified person at Bhandup in Central Mumbai today.

The deceased was identified as Francis Demello, a resident of Bhandup locality.

The incident took place this evening when Demello was coming back to his house from work. One of the two persons, riding on a motorbike, fired two rounds at Demello. The deceased was rushed to the nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead.

According to police, Demello had some criminal background and the incident seems to be a case of old enmity.
