7 killed, 15 injured in two separate accidents

Bangalore, Nov 16 (UNI) Seven people, including two women, were killed and 15 injured in two separate road accidents in Karnataka today.

Police said four people were killed and ten injured, when a state Road Transport Corporation bus rammed into a mini truck at Kallambella in Tumkur district.

The deceased were identified as Vijay Kumar, Maher Singh, Bhagwat Singh and Anantalakshmi.

In another mishap, three persons, identified as Basavaraj Madar, Lingamma Madar and Ashok, were mowed down by a truck at Shigaon in Dharwad district.

Police said the mishap occurred when the truck ran over a group of people walking on the edge of the road.

Five persons were injured in the accident, police added.
