Woman-son among 3 electrocuted in UP capital

Lucknow, Nov 15 (UNI) At least three persons, including a mother-and son , were burnt alive and another sustained critical burns after coming in contact with a high tension wire, in Banthara area of the Uttar Pradesh capital today.

The high tension wire struck Guru's better half Sumitra (36), three-year-old son, aquaintances Mayawati (40) and Chandrawati at village Hameerpur this evening.

While Sumitra, son and Mayawati died on the spot, another was rushed to a closeby hospital, police said.
