Woman commits suicide in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 15 (UNI) A woman committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance in the Kashmir valley today, police said.

They said Mahjabeena Akhter, wife of Bashir Ahmad Kutay, consumed some poisonous substance at her residence at Kanidajan in Charar-e-Sharief area of Badgam district in central Kashmir.

The woman was rushed to a hospital where she died.

Police have registered a case in this regard.
