New Delhi, Nov. 15 : It was the traditional clash of the Titans on Diwali. Om Shanti Om, a film based on reincarnation, had a tough battle to overcome for box-office supremacy as it was sharing its opening date with Saawariya directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

However, less than a week since its release, analysts say, Om Shanti Om has edged past Saawariya in each and every territory. So, while Saawariya is trying to pick up its threads, Om Shanti Om has managed to pull it off.
