UP roadways bus hits truck, 3 killed

Mirzapur, Nov 15: At least three people, including a woman, were killed and 10 others seriously injured in an Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) bus-truck collision in Lalganj area here today.

The accident occurred on Jabalpur-Mirzapur national highway near Haliya crossing, where the roadways bus, en route to Mirzapur, collided head on with the truck, police said.

The drivers of the vehicles and a woman passenger died on the spot in the incident.

Meanwhile, the injured had been admitted to hospital, where condition of three was critical. Investigations were underway.
