Three killed in road accidents in Hoshiarpur district

Hoshiarpur, Nov 15 (UNI) Three people were killed in two different road accidents in this district today.

According to police sources, two persons died on the spot when their car collided head-on with a truck near a petrol pump at Bhikhowal, 9 Km from here on Hoshiarpur-Dasuya road today evening.

The bodies of the deceased were being identified. The car was coming towards Hoshiarpur while the truck was going towards Dasuya side.

In another accident, a 13-year-old Raman Kumar was crushed under the wheels of tractor-trailer at Mehtiana village tdoay.

Police sent his body to the civil hospital, Hoshiarpur, for postmortem.
