PDP condemns NC corporator's killing in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 15 (UNI) The PDP today strongly condemned the killing of an NC corporator here yesterday, saying such cowardly acts would not deter the people of Jammu and Kashmir from seeking resolution of their problems through political and democratic means.

NC Corporator Ghulam Nabi Wani was shot dead by unidentified gunmen at Khanyar in the old city here yesterday morning.

Expressing grief and anguish over the dastardly act, a PDP spokesman termed the killing an act of frustration perpetrated by the elements inimical to peace.

In a statement here, he expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
