Nepal Minister meets Ram Vilas Paswan

New Delhi, Nov 15: Environment, Science and Technology Minister of Nepal Mahanta Thakur called on Minister for Steel, Chemicals and Fertiliser Ram Vilas Paswan here today and discussed matters of mutual interest.

The visiting Minister recalled the traditional friendly relations between the two countries. Expressing similar sentiments, Mr Paswan said, ''We have to work together to further deepen the existing relations between the two nations.'' Mr Thakur is also a Central Committee Member and treasurer of the Nepali Congress. He was elected the Deputy Speaker in the House of Representatives in 1991.
