Govt sanctions additional 100 acres for Bijapur airport
Bijapur, Nov 15 (UNI) The Karnataka government has sanctioned 100 acres of additional land, required for constructing an airport here, Minister Govind Karjol said today.
The Minister told UNI that a decision to this effect was taken in a Cabinet meeting.
The Cabinet was informed that the Airport Authority of India (AAI) needed 100 acres more, in addition to the 650 acre of land now at its disposal, to take up the works, he added.
