Bollywood stars to rock Lucknow Mohatsava

Lucknow, Nov 15 (UNI) The musical fest by Bollywood stars, including singing sensation Sunidhi Chauhan and Kailesh Kher, would add to the magic of the annual Lucknow Mohatsava.

Lucknow Mohatsava -- the days full of festive events and star studded evenings laden with entertainment, crafts, cuisines, music and dance -- is commencing from November 27 and would be inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati.

Bollywood nights have been scheduled on December 2 and 3, where Sunidhi and Kailash would enthrall the audience with their hit numbers 'Beedi Jalaile..', Aaja Nach Le..' and 'Tuta Tuta Ek Parinda..', Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Vijay Shanker Pandey and District Magistrate Chandra Bhanu said here.

A fusion musical event would follow the Bolloywood night on December 4, when the famous Louis Banks, Niladri Kumar, Mahalaxmi Iyer and Shivamani would perform.

December 5 would be marked by another musical extravaganza with Lucknowites dancing to the tunes of Punjabi pop singer Daler Mehndi.

Another musical evening on November 28 will witness performances by the popular contestants of the reality show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa', including Poonam Yadav, Debojit, Sanchita, Himani, Aishwarya and Ujjaini. Laughter Challenge artiste Deepak Raja would tickle the funny bones of the audience afterwards.

Going by the mushrooming popularity of Bhojpuri movies and stars, the Mohatsava committee has planned an evening with Bhojpuri actor and singer Manoj Tewari on November 30.

November 29 will be a delight for those fond of sher-o-shayari.

The Mahotsava committee in association with Doordarshan will be presenting a show titled 'shan-e-mushaira'.

The Mohatsava would be concluded with the 'bhajan sandhya', where Bollywood singer Anuradha Poudwal and Rajendra Jain will perform.
